If so, HCSS is looking for a motivated experienced .Net/SQL Developer to join our Integration and Custom Development software development team.
You will be part of a team developing innovative software solutions to real customer problems within the construction industry.

We are looking for someone who is interested in solving our most pressing problems in our industry
Qualified candidates must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Required Skills:
- SQL Server and SQL
- .Net framework and C#
- Windows power user (be able to configure windows and windows services)
- Understands file formats including XML, CSV, etc.
- 3 years of work experience in .Net programming
- Understanding of networks, virtual environments and cloud a plus
- Knowing VBScript is a plus
Other characteristics that we look for:
- Willing to learn VDF and work on small VDFprojects
- A few years of work experience in programming
- Be able to communicate effectively, including with customers
- Be a team player and be able to work cooperatively with members of a team (having worked in teams is a plus)
- Used or be aware of agile software development processes and be open to working in an agile team

The starting salary for this position depends upon your experience, with great
performance-based upside potential for your salary. While we will not include
additional perks such as special "management" bonus plans or immediate equity in the company,
you will benefit from our annual Cash Profit-Sharing, ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), and
our Stock Appreciation Rights (SARs) program. These benefits are in addition to our traditional
plans, such as 401K matching, health insurance, etc.

How to Apply
To ensure you have the logic skills for problem solving, we give all applicants a short reasoning test as well as some simple grammar/vocabulary questions. Although the test is not particularly difficult (about 7th grade level), if you were poor at math in school, you will probably not pass the test.
If you feel that you shouldn’t have to take an employment test at this stage in your career, then you are probably not a fit for the culture of our company.
