Testing Intern

Location: Sugar Land, TX

We are looking for a focused, well-organized, and fun person for an exciting internship position in software testing. Testing requires anticipating how the end user will use the product, thinking like them and acting on their behalf. At HCSS you will get an opportunity to learn our construction software, learn how to test it and also learn how to develop the skill needed to be an end user advocate.

What will you do?

  • Functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
  • Develop and execute test plans and automated tests.
  • Learn about various QA methodologies.
  • Obtain first-hand experience with the software development lifecycle.
  • Gain valuable work experience in a tough economic climate.

What we need:

  • Current college student
  • Keen attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and multi-task independently.
  • Strong sense of urgency and a passion for getting results.
  • A desire to create lists and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Accessibility Platform is a plus.

How to Apply

To ensure you have the logic skills for problem solving, we give all applicants a short reasoning test as well as some simple grammar/vocabulary questions.
